Gananoque to Kingston 30K
The annual Runners' Choice Gananoque to Kingston 30K will take place on Sunday, March 29th.  If you aren't up to doing the whole distance you can do 15, 20 or 25 instead (all distances are approximate).  There is no cost to take part and we will be carpooling so volunteer drivers are also required.  If you are interested or would like more information, please call the store at (613)542-2410 or email info@runnerschoicekingston.com .  We would like to know who is planning to take part and what distance you intend to run so that we can plan transportation and with any luck we will have the wind at our backs.

Res Run Shirt Deadline Nears

Just a reminder that the deadline for T-shirt orders from all participants in the 29th Annual Kingston Road Runners Association Resolution Run and the Second Annual Colleen's Memorial Fun Run/Walk — both Sunday, January 4, at the Kingston Military Community Sports Centre — is Saturday, December 27.

Since last year, when the charity run/walk in memory of Colleen Wall was paired with the long-standing 8km New Year's event of the Road Runners, all profits from the day's activities have gone to the Andy Fund of Kingston and its Cancer-patient support efforts.

Whether registering for the 8km run around RMC and over Fort Henry Hill or opting for Colleen's event on the indoor track at the Sports Centre, December 27 is the deadline for registrants who want to ensure they receive a T-shirt commemorating their participation.

Participants in Colleen's Memorial Event are eligible for Resolution Run shirts (or a running hat) if they raise $50 or more in pledges. It's important that those collecting pledges also complete a hard-copy event registration form to reserve their shirt or hat.

Hard-copy Resolution Run registration forms and Memorial Event pledge sheets can be picked up at Runners' Choice, 260 Princess Street, or downloaded from the Resolution Run Website.

Online registration for 8K runners is also available through Events Online (where 8K runners can save money on their entry fees).
