Hi Runners,
Registrations are starting to arrive for the 2012 edition of the 5km KRRA Twosome Run on February 12th. At this event unique in the KRRA Race Series, runners compete in male-female teams for overall and age group awards. Please note that same-sex teams are welcome as well.
Runners can also register as "onesomes" too if they choose - all runners and volunteers are eligible for draw prizes.
Perhaps you'd like to avoid the last-minute scrambling for a race teammate? Please feel free to use this thread find a partner for the race. Just post here (or send us an email) if you're male or female and if you have any expectations time-wise for the race. Remember that teammates do not have to run the race together.
To date we've heard from one female competitor who is looking for a teammate.
For full details on the race, please visit the Race Website. Note that the site includes a 5k training program for novice runners.

Ladies ... here's a guy looking for a teammate for the race. Let us know here or by email if you want to team up:
I'm a 71 year old male and need a teammate for this race. I expect to do the 5k in about 28 minutes.
