2013 KRRA Race Series Event #1
KRRA - Resolution Run 8k
Each year the KRRA Race Series kicks off with the 8km Resolution Run. This race
is organized and supported by the Kingston Road Runners Association in
support of the CanAssist African Relief Trust.
The 8km road race begins and ends on the RMC campus, and takes runners through the
RMC campus as well as the grounds of Canadian Forces Base Kingston, including
a trip up and down the infamous Fort Henry hill. This event also features a
free indoor family run/walk prior to the outdoor road race.

Course Map

|
Due to construction on the RMC campus, the 2013 route
for the Resolution Run features some small deviations from the route
used in previous years. Click on the Race Course Map below for a larger version:
Note: runners will travel Point Frederick Drive (1km mark) in a
west-to-east direction as in previous years.

Saturday, January 5
11am-4pm: early race kit pickup at Runners' Choice
Sunday, January 6
9:00am: Race Registration / pick-up kit at race site
9:30am: Family fun run/walk in gym (the more laps, the more chances to
win door prizes)
10:00am: 8km Road Race start time
11:00am: Awards / Draws / Chili!

Medals to the top 3 runners in KRRA age categories
Resolution Run long-sleeved t-shirts for 8km runners if entered by Dec 31, 2012
Course records: Men: 25:05, Women: 27:53.
Indoor walkers/runners: a donation to the CanAssist African Relief Trust
(ideally done before race day) would be appreciated. To register for the indoor
