Please note: new venue and route for this race in 2010!
This year we are fortunate to have the use of Winston Churchill Public School as our
race venue. Runners will enjoy a course similar to the route in years past, with the
race start and finish on MacDonnell Street adjacent to the school's athletic field.
Post race refreshments and festivities will take place in the school gymnasium.

Racers compete in Male/Female teams in combined age groups (ages as of January 1, 2010)
by combined finish times. Teams do not need to run together nor do they need to be
"couples". Racers may register as "onesomes" and qualify for KRRA Series points, but are
not eligible for race medals.
Medals to top 3 teams overall and in each combined age group categories: under 40,
40-49, 50-49, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90-99, 100-109, 110+.
Race Day Schedule:
9:45am Registration and race kit pickup at Winston Churchill P.S.
10:30am Race day registration closes
11:00am 5km race begins on MacDonnell Street
12:00pm Awards/Draws/Food & Beverages sponsored by Agnew Foods and Tim Hortons
Race Details:
Technical socks guaranteed to first 150 people registered.
Special Prize of new running shoes (donated by Runners' Choice) for middle-of-the-pack
Twosome Team. Results as announced at the event are considered final.
Many great door prizes - all runners are eligible for door prizes.
Register before race day for a discounted race fee. Online registration closes at
midnight on February 12th.
Early race kit pickup available from Runners' Choice (260 Princess Street) on
Saturday, February 13 from 12-4PM.
Water will be available to runners in the school gymnasium but not on the race course.
Directions to Winston Churchill Public School (530 Earl Street):
From the East or West via Hwy 401:
- exit Hwy 401 at Sir John A MacDonald Blvd
- travel south to Johnson Street (approx 4.5 km)
- turn left on Johnson and travel approx 0.7 km to MacDonnell Street
- turn right on MacDonnell - the school is one block ahead at the corner of Earl Street
From the East via Hwy 2:
- enter downtown Kingston on Hwy 2 via the Lasalle Causeway
- travel east on Ontario Street to Brock Street
- turn right on Brock and travel approx 2.0 km to MacDonnell Street
- turn left on MacDonnell - the school is two blocks ahead at the corner of Earl Street
There is an abundance of free on-the-street parking in the vicinity of Winston Churchill P.S.
Please try to avoid parking on Earl Street (the race route) or in the school parking lot. Arrive
early and you'll find a spot close by on MacDonnell (south of Hill or North of Earl), Hill,
Napier, Toronto or Victoria Streets. Also, please consider carpooling to this event - click
