DESCRIPTION:The (PEC) County Half Marathon\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Event Details\n				There are three races for this event: full marathon (a Boston qualifier)\, half marathon\, and a new 5K distance. \nThe half marathon is the one and only race of this event that is part of the KRRA Race Series. \nThis event presents beautiful Picton County on a closed course. Buses deliver half marathon runners from the Community Centre pickup\, to the half marathon start line (halfway point of the full marathon). \nThis year\, finisher medals and tech shirts are included in registration. Shirts are available for a limited time and limited quantity. To guarantee a shirt\, avoid late registration. \nFor full details and information about the PEC County Marathon event\, visit the website at countymarathon.ca \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Location & Schedule\n				Buses drive runners out to Wellington ON for the full marathon start\, and to the Half startline\, from Crystal Palace\, downtown Picton ON. \nSaturday:  Race day kit pick-up800am:  Full Marathon start830am:  5K race start1000am:  Half Marathon race start \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Registration\n				5K runner and walker registration is $50. Registration for the Kids 1-Miler is $18.44\, with a limited number of spots. \nThe Napanee Heritage 5K and Kids 1-Miler registration is located on the Race Roster platform. Click here to arrive on the registration page. \nBeing a KRRA member gets a $10 discount with code for both the full and half distances. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Awards & Prizes\n				Kids 1 Miler:  Awards for Top 3 Female and Top 3 Male athletes (no age categories\, max age is 12). \n5K Race: Awards for Top 3 Female and Top 3 Male athletes. Top 3 Age Category prizes for 10-and-under\, 11-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69\, and 70+. Middle of the Pack Award. Numerous draw prizes available. \nAdditional Award: $100 cash prize for any Male or Female Athlete who bests the current course record. Current record for Males is 14:52 (Kevin Coffey\, 2022).  Current record for Females is 16:44 (Anna Workman\, 2023). \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Course Description\n				Kids 1-Miler\nThe morning begins with the Kids 1-Mile Race\, which begins and finishes at the museum.
