DESCRIPTION:Wolfe Island Classic 5K & 10K\, and Kids 1-Miler\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Event Details\n				Wolfe Island is the first\, and largest\, of the famous Thousand Islands. Scenic\, and a popular cycling destination\, it has wonderful views of the city of Kingston\, Ontario\, some of the other islands\, and the American shoreline. \nThe Wolfe Island Classic is part of the KRRA Race Series. Members of KRRA earn points for completing the 5k Race. This running event is part of the KRRA RACE SERIES. Series points awarded for this Race are 75 overall\, and 15 points for age category \nThe Kids 1-Miler is included in the Kingston Kids Race Series. \nAs well\, the The Wolfe Island Classic 5K and 10K is a partner and first of three running events which make up the Waterside Series. Run this event\, the Napanee Heritage (5K)\, and the Wooly Bully Races (5K or 10K) to receive a very cool and exclusive custom medal. It is a straight out-n-back. DESCRIPTION:KRRA Limestone Mile ~ Canada Day\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Event Details\n				A Canada Day tradition\, Canada Day Limestone Mile is organized and supported by the Kingston Road Runners Association in support of its charitable causes. \nThis year’s Limestone Mile Event is dedicated to our dear friend Kevin Dunbar. Please read about the Kevin Dunbar Memorial Scholarship Fund. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Location & Schedule\n				The Limestone Mile is now the Kingston Memorial Centre Track. This is a safer\, course that provides better view for spectators\, lots of parking\, and is completely free of any traffic issues. \nPlease note: there is no race day registration. \nCanada Day technical crew shirt: $20. The course is two laps of the outer paved oval encircling the gravel loop and dog parks. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Kevin Dunbar Memorial Scholarship Fund\n				 \nThe Kevin Dunbar Memorial Scholarship is a community and athletic based scholarship fund in honor of the legacy of Kevin Dunbar.  Kevin had a huge impact in the running community as a mentor\, coach\, volunteer and athlete. He was a passionate lawyer who worked tirelessly to help others. This scholarship fund will give back to the community by supporting high school students as they pursue post-secondary education. \nThe annual KRRA Canada Day Limestone Mile will be an opportunity for Kevin’s family\, and the Kingston and Area community to gather and remember Kevin and also as an opportunity to raise funds for the Kevin Dunbar Memorial Scholarship Fund. \nHow can I make a donation?\nAnyone can donate to support the Kevin Dunbar Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Donations can be made via e transfer to:  kevindunbarmemorialscholarship@gmail.com Donations will also be collected at the KRRA Canada Day Limestone Mile event. \nClick here to learn more about the Kevin Dunbar Memorial Scholarship Fund. SUMMARY:The County Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The (PEC) County Half Marathon\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Event Details\n				There are three races for this event: full marathon (a Boston qualifier)\, half marathon\, and a new 5K distance. \nThe half marathon is the one and only race of this event that is part of the KRRA Race Series. \nThis event presents beautiful Picton County on a closed course. Buses deliver half marathon runners from the Community Centre pickup\, to the half marathon start line (halfway point of the full marathon). \nThis year\, finisher medals and tech shirts are included in registration. Shirts are available for a limited time and limited quantity.
