Register as a volunteer for Limestone Race Weekend

Limestone Race Weekend is a multi-day event being held Saturday April 25th and Sunday April 26th, 2026, and we require a large crew of people to come out and volunteer.

This includes the following tasks:

Race Kit Pick Up, Friday/Saturday – Location to be Finalized

Roles/Duties – Hand out bibs with race numbers, t-shirts, for all weekend event
Friday April 24th afternoon/evening: 4-7pm
Saturday April 25th morning/afternoon: 10am-1pm

Race Kit Pick Up, Saturday – Kingston penitentiary site

Roles/Duties – Hand out 2K/10K race kits and those running Sunday’s Historic Half Marathon & 5K
Saturday April 25th afternoon: 2:30-5pm

2K/10K Start and finish line, Saturday – Location to be Finalized

Roles/Duties – site set-up crew, volunteer check-in, handing out food to runners post-race, route set-up, route marshals, and water station
Saturday April 25th afternoon: 2:30pm-7pm

Race Kit Pick Up, Sunday – Confederation Park – Across from City Hall

Roles/Duties – Hand out 2K/10K race kits and those running Sunday’s Historic Half Marathon & 5K
Sunday April 26th morning: 8-9:30am

Half Marathon/5K Start and finish line, Sunday – Ontario Street in front of City Hall

Roles/Duties – site set-up crew, volunteer check-in, handing out food to runners post-race, route set-up, route marshals, and water station
Site set up crew – includes tent and awards wall, PA system; volunteer check-in
Sunday April 26th morning: 7-9am

Half Marathon/5K Routes set-up/tear-down, Sunday

Roles/Duties – course set-up and tear-down, course marshals, and water stations
Sunday April 26th morning/lunchtime: 8am-1:30pm

Times are subject to change. All volunteers will be informed of exact timing for their Roles and Duties.
